CACI International Inc. has an immediate opening for an Inventory Control Specialist located in Dulles, VA.


CACIs Inventory Control Specialist is a strategic role of crucial importance within the hardware production team. This position coordinates planning, inventory control, and timely delivery of completed hardware assemblies to meet company objectives and customer requirements. This position also assesses and improves purchasing and supply processes, inventory management and accuracy, and future needs.


**Duties:**


+ Contribute to the management and execution of ERP system to ensure flow of goods accurately reflects inventory levels at each stage of the CACI hardware manufacturing process (raw materials, WIP, finished goods)


+ Be a key part of a small team responsible for:


+ Accuracy of material and cost transactions within the ERP system


+ Ensuring production technicians have tools, parts, and documents necessary for build assignments


+ Monitoring inventory accuracy throughout the year (monthly cycle counts)


+ Following quality control processes (e.g. incoming inspections, vendor RMAs)


+ Analyze inventory levels, production speed and product demand to determine reorder levels


+ Communicate regularly with suppliers and buyers to establish delivery schedules, monitor progress, and resolve problems. Request to expedite orders as needed in order to ensure timely delivery


+ Exercise readiness to hold suppliers accountable for delivery dates and quality controls


+ Support shop floor production by physically assembling all materials for builds as resources become available


+ Work closely with warehouse receiving staff to monitor scheduled deliveries and ensure timely handover to the production floor


+ Develop and implement improvements in policies and procedures to promote efficiency, faster service, and lower costs (where applicable)


+ Assume responsibility for inventory management and physical inventory audit at the end of the fiscal year


+ Work closely with various teams within CACI to ensure efficiency and accuracy of the hardware production process including procurement, finance, engineering, and programs representing end customers


+ Attend weekly meetings with the engineering team to discuss production build changes and issues


+ Pull monthly reports of inventory values and transactions for financial reconciliation and investigate any discrepancies


+ Organize the warehouse in a manner that allows for efficient storage and movement of inventory


+ Maintain stock rotation and monitor/record obsolescence of raw materials


+ Provide general operational support


**Required Qualifications:**


+ 5+ years of related experience


+ US Citizenship


+ Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel


+ Proven knowledge in purchasing and inventory control


+ Extreme attention to detail


+ Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize task completion to meet schedules and deadlines


+ Dynamic self-starter capable of working in an environment with minimal supervision


+ Able to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication and time management


+ Highly responsible, dedicated to problem solving, able to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously


**Preferred Qualifications:**


+ BA/BS degree


+ ERP/MRP software system experience


+ Expediting and shop floor control experience


+ Financial integration and inventory costing experience
