Marketing Supervisor

Job description

Shore United Bank is seeking a full-time Marketing Supervisor to join our team. The Marketing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the marketing department, ensuring in-house channels are executed effectively to meet company objectives. This position involves supervising a hybrid team of marketing professionals in multiple locations, coordinates company sponsored events, collaborating with other departments, managing the community impact portal, and contributing to the development of marketing strategies.

Essential Functions Include:

* Team Supervision and Development:

* Lead, mentor and supervise a team of marketing specialists and graphic designers.

* Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive/corrective feedback when needed.

* Identify training and development needs within the team.

* Strategic Planning:

* Collaborate with marketing management and other senior management to develop marketing strategies.

* Contribute to the development of annual marketing plans and budgets.

* Content and Communications:

* Supervise the creation of marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, newsletters, email and social media content.

* Ensure all marketing communications are consistent in tone, style and branding.

* Manage the company's online presence of social media channels and email marketing.

* Prepares communications and press releases for company initiatives as needed.

* Responds to internal requests timely and professionally to meet deadlines.

* Obtains compliance and appropriate approvals for all marketing collateral and ads before posting.

* Community Impact:

* Manage the community impact platform for donations, sponsorships, events, and volunteer service hours.

* Responds timely to requests received and coordinates fulfillment of agreed upon donation, sponsorship and event to completion.

* Acts as a key liaison between requestor and organization to maximize our marketing exposure and makes recommendations of approval, denial or adjustments of donations/sponsorships.

* Marketing Platforms:

* Manages the in-house company platforms, content and change requests for in-branch TVs, marque signs, ATM, bank statement and online banking ads to promote the company brand, products and services.

* Works with vendors to troubleshoot platforms and enhancements to ensure systems are functioning as agreed upon.

* Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the Company's compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g., Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, etc.

* Participates in required training sessions, including training for compliance with BSA/AML policies and procedures.

Location: This position can be located in either Easton, MD or Waldorf, MD.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

* Full-time.

* Non-exempt.

* Days of Work: Monday-Friday. Overtime as needed to meet deadlines and goals.

Required Education and Experience:

* High school diploma/GED equivalent.

* Associates or Bachelor's degree is preferred in Communications, Marketing, or related field of study, or equivalent related work experience.

* A minimum of one year prior work experience fulfilling donations, sponsorships and event requests to support community impact goals.

* A minimum of one year prior supervisory experience.

Compensation:

* The pay range for this position is $45,000 - $65,000 annually.

* Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on factors such as relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, licensure requirements and/or skill level, and will be finalized at the time of offer.
