Our work depends on a Configuration Lead joining our team to support the Army Global Unified Network (AGUN) program in Falls Church, VA.
This is an IT Service Management contract in support of GENM-O's mission to enable information dominance from the tactical edge to the home station for the Army, DoD, National Command Authority, and international partners by acquiring, implementing, and sustaining strategic satellite and terrestrial communication systems, and by leveraging technologies to meet current and future requirements. AGUN is to design, procure, maintain, deploy, and transition a Global SDN solution in accordance with applicable Army policies and regulations. The AGUN-INC1 TO will provide a unified approach to ensure standardized deployments and configurations at multiple locations throughout the globe.
To be successful in this position you need to be collaborative and willing to work within a team. While you will need to be a self-starter completing tasks on your own, working together is critical in this role. You will be interfacing with the client and senior staff. Therefore, you should be articulate in your communications because your opinion matters. You will need to explain technical intricacies in a way that is easily understood.
Configuration Lead: Provides services for engineering, installation, and O&M of a Configuration Management (CM) system to include a CM Plan outlining processes for detailed recording and updating of information related to hardware and software assets and configurations for all networks. Enables the control of the IT infrastructure and services by monitoring and maintaining information on resources needed to deliver IT services. Provides planning, identification, control, status, and verification of configuration items (CIs) throughout their lifecycle. Establishes and maintains the consistency of information regarding the design requirements, functional and physical attributes, and operational information of enterprise CIs. Works closely and in conjunction with Change Management to fully assess the impact of proposed changes.

- Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree, 5+ years of experience
- Appropriately certified for their designated role in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M, DFARS 252.###-####, AR 25-2, or any successor policies or regulations; Possesses a DoD 8570.01 approved baseline certification or higher.
