RESPONSIBILITIES

* Responsible for overseeing the processing of all cash disbursements.* Responsible for analyzing and reconciling accounts payable transactions as well as verifying the accuracy of those transactions.* Responsible for day-to-day management of Accounts Payable staff.* Responsible for implement process improvements to ensure compliance with internal policies, government regulations and accounting principles.* Responsible for education and training stakeholders to ensure Accounts Payable process adheres to internal policies and external regulations.* Responsible for ad-hoc reporting, support detail, analysis of accounts, account reconciliations and audit schedules as needed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience* Approximately 7+ years of relevant accounting / finance experience* Experience in government contracting environment* Thorough understanding of accounting and finance principles, as well as familiarity with DCAA, FAR, JTR, DFARS and other applicable regulations* High proficiency in MS Excel

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum seven (7) years of experience in directing the work of an accounts payable team, have a thorough understanding of accounting principles and government contracting, have extensive experience in planning and timely execution of all accounts payable functions. Be able to provide ad-hoc support and analyses, as well as ensuring adherence to policies, applicable law and regulations, procedures, and internal controls. The role reports directly to the Controller.
