The successful candidate will support an extensive digital modernization program critical to DISA.Primary ResponsibilitiesUse monitoring tools to provide both reactive and proactive support for the client network and systems infrastructureFollow DoD and JSP processes to install, activate, modify, upgrade, or deactivate ports and circuits, in accordance with government requirementsConduct root-cause analysis on recurring problems and present weekly and monthly findingsKeep leadership informed of critical ticket outages, updates, and resolutionCoordinate maintenance and repair with help deskSubmit tickets for troubleshooting problems with circuits or systems within the customer facilitiesAs needed, escalate for Tier III level supportMonitor status of all cable plant, circuits, power plant, network equipment, and systemsReview circuit history for accuracy, including verification of diagramsReview and validate Test and Acceptance documentationPerform circuit restoration, fault isolation, and status reporting in accordance with DoD policies and proceduresBasic Qualifications:Bachelor s degree and 12+ years of relevant technical experience or a Masters degree with 10+ years of prior relevant experienceExperience creating engineering circuit layout diagramsExperience in digital and analogue circuit design and implementationExperience in analysis testing and troubleshooting circuitsExperience with help desk support and operation.TS/SCI clearance requiredKnowledge of IP and optical network operation.Knowledge of DOD network and system security requirements.Knowledge of networking and network-based software applications in a DoD environment.Knowledge of industry accepted standards and best practices related to Information Management Operations and with ITSM best practices.Excellent oral and written communication skillsPreferred:Master's DegreeOriginal Posting Date:2024-06-07While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.Pay Range:Pay Range $122,200.00 - $220,900.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
