Job description
The Swift Group is looking for a Cloud Engineer to work with multiple application teams supporting a portfolio which is the central repository for all created applications. The team provides state of the art systems on cloud and applications based on products such as AWS, Oracle, SharePoint, and other web-based solutions. The team requires support for developing, implementing, optimizing, and maintaining the current cloud-based infrastructure solutions for multiple project teams. The Contractor will work directly with leadership and other technical team members to perform infrastructure maintenance. This position is located in Tysons, VA.

Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience providing Operations & Maintenance (O&M) support to production systems to include troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated experience with cloud platform administration such as Amazon Web Services.
- Demonstrated experience with configuration and infrastructure management of technical components, including hardware, software, and data.
- Demonstrated experience in analyzing and supporting cloud infrastructure such as Amazon Web Services.
- Demonstrated experience with infrastructure-as-code software such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Demonstrated experience with scripting languages such as Python.
- Demonstrated experience with Linux or Linux Administration.
- Demonstrated experience with software version control management such as GitHub.
- Demonstrated experience with application build pipelines such as Jenkins.
- Demonstrated experience obtaining the clients authentication and accreditation certification for systems with highly sensitive data.
- Demonstrated experience complying with the client's regulations and policies regarding systems integration with external services (such as access control or auditing), patching and maintaining current versions of software, outage reporting, accessibility requirements, internal-use software reporting, or auditing.
- Demonstrated experience using JIRA, Confluence or SharePoint.
- Bachelors degree or five years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required
