Description
Performs a variety of general office and program support duties required to prepare, process, maintain, and distribute documents and records for the Gatehouse Welcome Center front desk; provides program information to employees and the general public.
Qualifications
Required
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or possession of a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) certificate.
One (1) year of progressively more responsible general office experience.
Knowledge of accepted business office practices and procedures.
Ability to operate personal computers and related office equipment.
Proficiency in common administrative software such as word processing, database management, and/or spreadsheet applications, if required.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to exercise tact, good judgment, and initiative.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
