Responsibilities:
- Oversee the accounts payable process, including invoice processing, payment processing, and reconciliation
- Manage a team of accounts payable specialists, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Develop and maintain vendor relationships, resolving any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner
- Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and finance, to streamline processes and improve efficiency
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations
- Prepare and analyze financial reports related to accounts payable activities
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
