TechFlow, Inc. is immediately hiring an entry-level Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for various energy projects. This role offers an opportunity for recent college graduates with an engineering degree to apply their knowledge and skills in a professional setting.This role has the potential to transition to full time, regular-status employment upon internship completion. Full time, regular status employment requires eligibility to obtain and maintain US government Secret level security clearance.Key Responsibilities Assist in the design and development of electrical systems and components for new and ongoing projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards and specifications. Analyze project requirements, technical specifications, and client needs to determine optimal electrical design solutions. Create and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software engineers, and project managers, to integrate electrical systems seamlessly. Conduct calculations, simulations, and testing to validate the performance, reliability, and safety of electrical designs. Select appropriate components, equipment, and materials based on project requirements and budget constraints. Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for stakeholders, clients, and management. Stay abreast of industry trends, advancements, and regulations in electrical engineering to propose innovative solutions and enhancements. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field Knowledge of electrical engineering principles, theories, and methodologies Proficiency in industry-standard design and analysis software, including CAD tools and simulation software Familiarity with electrical codes, regulations, and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC) Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and technical presentations Ability to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance with the requirement of a U.S. Citizenship Preferred Qualifications Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively Previous exposure to Energy and Sustainability projects Continuous learning mindset with a commitment to professional development BenefitsFounded in 1995 at the start of the dot-com revolution, TechFlow helped large commercial clients such as Dreamworks, Toshiba, MGM, and others modernize their business systems.
