Job description
Leverage expertise in the configuration management (CM) processes within planning, design, implementation, testing, and release phases of a developmental and operational systems life cycle for both hardware and software. Identify configuration items (CI) and implement change control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits. Participate in review boards and process change proposals and enforce change management requirements. Work on a team to create and maintain software, hardware, and documentation configuration baselines, including development, test, and production. Modify CM plans and procedures tailored to the complexity and scope of the developmental or operational system. Implement CM discipline for the entire life cycle of systems from initial requirements and capabilities baselines to system end-of-life.
