Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • For data integrity purposes, IGD requires support for organizing, normalizing, and cleaning duplicates and redundant obsolete and trivial files found within shared-drives and Microsoft SharePoint sites.
  • Operate and maintain the records on SharePoint sites and shared drives, including receipt, storage, retrieval, and disposition of records.
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of documentation required to create or modify a record.
  • Monitor and update all necessary databases and/or indexes, registers, or logs.
  • Administers and controls the activities related to data planning.
  • Develops and establishes policies and procedures pertaining to management, security, maintenance, and utilization of database.
  • Advises management on database concepts and functional capabilities.
  • Performs backup and recovery on Database Management Systems.
  • Configures database parameters, and prototypes designs against logical data models.
  • Defines data repository requirements, data dictionaries, and warehousing requirements.
  • Installs and upgrades the database server and application tools.
  • May plan, coordinate and implement security measures to safeguard the database.
  • Demonstrates expertise in the use of database management systems and related products from vendors such as Oracle, Costpoint, SAS, and IBM.
  • Performs work with a high degree of latitude.
  • Handles the most complex issues.
  • May act as a lead.
  • Manage Websites, SharePoint, Teams
  • Conduct briefings to leadership and provide training during Townhalls.
  • Update trainings for mandatory annual training, onboarding, and workforce training.
  • Develop training website with instructional videos.
  • Develop training materials that cover information management and relevant laws, regulations and DoD policies.
  • Conduct training workshop for the IGD staff and relevant personnel.
  • Manage records within a cloud environment.
  • Establish, conduct and provide RIM training
  • Write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Active Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree with eight to ten years of relevant experience.
  • At least 10 years' experience in federal government records management
  • Experience with SharePoint Administrator
  • Experience with Electronic Records Management Systems
  • Demonstrated ability to speak with authority on the Federal Records Act, National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) guidelines, and other documents governing federal records management practices
  • Strong analytical skills, organizational skills, leadership skills, attention to detail, professional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Records and Information certifications is preferred
