Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allows seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour

Looking for ALL shifts. Customized Scheduling.

We service Kent and Sussex County. Cities include: Dover, Smyrna, Clayton, Hartly, Camden, Magnolia, Felton, Milford, Seaford, Georgetown, Millsboro, Harrington, Lewes, Milton, Oceanview, Rehoboth Beach, Dewey Beach, and surrounding areas.

Qualifications:

  • Age 21 or older
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Have your own reliable transportation
  • Posses a valid drivers license and valid auto insurance
  • Caring and Compassionate
  • Previous experience is a plus as a home health aide (HHA), personal care assistant (PCA), certified nursing assistant (CNA), licensed practical nurse (LPN), registered nurse (RN)
  • Previous experience is also a plus as a home-care caregiver, working in a senior living facility, or customer service
  • A background check (fingerprinting), driving record check, drug screen, physical and two step PPD must be performed prior to orientation

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Helping seniors thrive in their home
  • Companionship and conversation
  • Medication and appointment reminders
  • Assistance grooming and bathing
  • Alzheimers and Dementia care
  • Transportation and errands
