This is a great opportunity to work for a company who is delivering the next generation of carbon-free energy by reinventing nuclear power.Position Description:This Licensing Project Manager performs project management activities to support the licensing of the Xe-100. The employee will coordinate with Project Management Office personnel and licensing staff to ensure licensing activities for X-energy deployment projects meet cost and schedule.Responsibilities:* Manage scheduling and budgeting activities related to project-specific licensing activities, including development of business unit budgets* Some understanding of NRC regulations and guidance requirements and how they interface with design and analysis* Develop and maintain work scopes developed by others and establish work packages and associated quality assurance documentation for internal and contractor resources* Manage requests for information among internal stakeholders and with regulators* Track, and manage key performance indicators* Communicate schedule and cost performance and KPI performance to peers* Perform technical reviews in area of expertise to meet and implement licensing requirements to support NRC compliance activities* Perform other duties as assigned by managerQualifications:* B.S. in engineering (e.g., Nuclear, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Chemical)* 5-9 years relevant experience in a project engineering capacity with at least 1 year of NRC licensing activities* Project management accreditation (i.e., PMP) preferred* Have a general understanding of NRC regulatory requirements and guidanceBenefitsX Energy, LLC offers a robust benefits package that includes a 401K plan with an employer match, Medical/Dental /Vision Insurance, Life and Disability Insurance, Paid Time Off, and a Tuition Reimbursement/Professional Development policy that supports the continuing education of our employees.Location: 530 Gaither Road, Rockville MDWork Site Expectations: Onsite/Hybrid (at least 2-3 days per week in company office)Travel Expectations: 10%Job Classification: Fulltime ExemptHours: 8:00am ET to 5:00pm ET, Monday - FridayAn Equal Opportunity Employer.
