Psychiatrist, Counseling and Consultation Service

Student Life | Counseling and Consultation

Provides outpatient mental health treatment to enrolled University students; collaborates and consults with a multidisciplinary team of health care professionals on patient care; provides crisis management as needed; provides education and consultation to University faculty, staff and students on mental health concerns; provides individual treatment to students seeking help for mental health problems; provides consultation with other health care professionals outside the center; participates in program review and improvement; serves on center committees; and provides supervision to clinical staff in training. Other duties as assigned.

Additional Information:

The pay range for this position is $205,000-$215,000.

Minimum Education Required

Doctorate (Professional) Degree.

Required Qualifications

Required: An M.D./D.O. degree is required. A current Unrestricted Ohio medical license required or ability to obtain an unrestricted Ohio medical license by date of hire, completed accredited psychiatric residency training, a current DEA Certificate, and board eligible/certified by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology.
