We are looking for our next great team member to join us on our Overnight Front Office team at the Bethesdan Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton. As the Night Auditor, you will be focused on reconciling and balancing all financial transactions on a daily basis. With your precise attention to detail and analytical mindset, you will prepare and run daily reports, post and/or adjust charges and settlements and reset systems for next day operations. You will perform all duties of a Front Desk Agent to include checking in and out reservations, welcoming all guests and ensuring a high quality guest service experience for all. If you've always been a night owl and prefer flexibility during the daytime, the part time availability and the shift hours of 11pm - 7:30 am would be beneficial for you. Starting hourly rate is $19/hour. Hilton experience is a plus, but not required. This position does require previous financial or customer service experience and the ability to effectively learn and use the property management system.

Duties include:

  • Prepare daily Restaurant Revenue Report data by auditing Point of Service tapes/journals to breakdown revenue, covers, waiters' fees, tips paid out and settlements by type and cashier.
  • Run audit reports/journals from the front office system, Point of Service and the computer.
  • Make corrections and adjustments and handle all computer problems that might occur throughout the shift.
  • Input into the front office system revenue/expenses/allowances to generate the daily reports such as the Guest Ledger Summary and the Daily Restaurant Summary.
  • Balance all revenue and settlement accounts nightly, maintain files and reset the system for next day operations.
  • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
  • Perform Front Desk Agent duties to include checking in/out guests and providing guest service
  • Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
