What you'll get to do:
Software tester of web applications as part of a Scrum team. Seeking team lead who has both testing and leadership experience of a small software testing team with experience in automated testing. This position will encompass several functions: Work with a friendly team with growth opportunities
Responsible for ensuring that all tests are conducted in a proper and orderly manner. Must also be able to motivate test team members and keep them on track.
Stay abreast of emerging and changing software technologies design practices in order to provide solutions that are leading edge, competitive and cost effective
Establish expected standards for quality assurance and communicate them to the entire test team.
Provide feedback to testers setting quality standards and helping improve their work
Develop test automation strategy for projects in AGILE methodology
Building up and leading the Testing Team to the success of program
Defining the scope of testing within the context of each release / delivery
Deploying and managing resources for testing
Applying the appropriate test measurements and metrics in the product and the Testing Team
Overseeing the testing of new products and features
Ensuring that all aspects of a product or feature are tested thoroughly before it is released to the public
Training other employees on how to perform quality assurance tests in the future
Leading a group of test professionals to test products and report their findings to engineers or product developers Designing and developing test plans and procedures so that they can validate the requirements of products
Creating and executing test plans and ensuring that all products are properly tested
Prioritizing tasks and staying organized
Working independently and communicating effectively with others in the company.
Seeking out and recommending and implementing testing process improvements
Implementing new testing tools You'll bring these qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and a minimum 7 years of related experience
Active and current TS/SCI with polygraph
Experience:
o Agile environment
o Scrum
o Automated testing
o Security testing
o MS TFS
o Zap (security testing)
Good organizational skills
Good leadership skills
Good project management skills
Good negotiation skills
Good people management skills
Good time management skills
Good problem-solving ability
Good analytical and logical skills These qualifications would be nice to have:
ISTQB Certified Tester or equivalent
Familiarity with load testing
