Our Global Government division, headquartered in Washington, DC, deploys cutting-edge technical expertise for federal agencies such as the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and the United States Coast Guard (USCG).

ABSG Consulting is seeking a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) Order Manager.

What You Will Do:

* Implement tasks, serving as lead technical staff* Lead the assessment of project risks and development and implementation of mitigation plans* Define project and task scope* Prepare project work plan and schedules and coordinates project resources* Conduct project and financial reviews* Serve as the primary project client contact* Manage and oversee the execution of professional services within the rail industry, including but not limited to: Design Review Services; Shop Drawing/Submittal Review Services; Construction Inspection and Testing Services; Technical Consultant Services; Commissioning Services; Testing Services; Post-Construction Services; Claims Services* Assist government agencies in the formulation of lessons learned

What You Will Need:

Education and Experience

* 15 years rail experience with freight, passenger railroading, and train control systems, with 5 years project management experience* BS/BA degree in a degree related field

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

* At a minimum, one of the following certifications are required: Program Management Professional (PgMp); Project Management Professional (PMP); Certified Construction Manager (CCM)

Location: This role will ideally be located in the Washington, D.C. area, but we are open to the position being remote.

Reporting Relationships:

Reports directly to Group Manager or Regional Manager for administrative matters. May have individual contributor direct reports.

Working Conditions:

Work is primarily sedentary; exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, although some work is performed in the field. Work is non-manual in nature.
