Job Summary

Reporting to the Vice President, Health Innovation and Management Solutions, the Director of Analytics Software has strategic responsibility for global growth and success of the analytics software portfolio, including the Johns Hopkins ACG System. Responsibilities include the creation and execution of analytics product strategy, planning and execution of the analytics product roadmap in alignment with customer and market needs, oversight of analytics product development and release cycle, and creation and execution of analytics contracts and deliverables for US and international clients. The Director's functions include but are not limited to: development of new programs and services to meet high-priority client needs, strategic planning for population health, predictive modeling, ensuring data and KPI availability and accuracy, translation of software features into practice, and coordination with internal stakeholders including sales, marketing and customer support teams. The Director leads a team of skilled analytic professionals, determining short- and long-term resource and budgetary allocations to multiple simultaneous complex projects and coordinating with other JHM, JHHC and external client analytic teams. The Director is responsible for relationship development and management at the executive level with internal and external clients and prospects.

Qualifications
  • Requires doctorate degree in healthcare related field (PhD, DNP, PharmD). MBA preferred.
  • Requires ten (10) years of progressive experience in management and healthcare analytics with focus on population health, healthcare software, or related activities
  • Requires strong knowledge of population health management strategies such as risk assessment, disease prevalence, case and disease management, and resource utilization.
  • Requires strong knowledge of healthcare/managed care business processes and terminology, including health delivery systems, benefit design, utilization management, medication adherence, quality improvement and all ancillary clinical services.
  • Requires strong knowledge of current health care policy and administration and reform initiatives, including health care reform and accountable care.
  • Demonstrated experience with: healthcare analytics, healthcare applications, planning and managing major projects, population health program evaluation and outcomes assessment.
