Job description
This position is for US citizens only who can be eligible for a DOD clearance. This will be onsite.
DSA has an immediate need for a PAID intern/co-op to join our IT department in our Fairfax office located at 10300 Eaton Place,Fairfax VA. We are looking for a self-directed IT intern passionate about technology, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. The intern will actively contribute to meaningful projects and work closely with a mentor and with the IT team.
DURATION:
Duration is >4 months or based on the candidate's academic calendar and availability. We are looking for an intern/co-op to start immediately.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Intern will provide user support and customer service on company-supported computer applications and platforms. Troubleshoot and resolve issues and advise users on the appropriate actions as well as configure and deploy new equipment.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other IT related field
- Familiar with PDF, Microsoft Office applications. Working knowledge of fundamental operations of Windows 10-11 is essential
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail and organized
- Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
