We build and enhance risk analytics capabilities and applications required for Modeling, Analytics and Reporting. We lead innovation and play significant role in delivering capabilities that build various 360's to enable Analytics, Data Science, AI and ML. We play a significant role in several project initiatives and constantly innovate to bring better customer experience with every feature delivery. We enable Business data across all applications and systems in Single-Family. Our partners span across all parts of Single-Family organizations from Product Owner, Data Owner, Business Leadership and IT Partners.

Your Impact:

You will have significant impact on our team, and in our organization. You will primarily lead delivery of data centric applications, while embracing and promoting the Agile mentality and IDEA Value Management Office (VMO) processes. You will help implement product vision and communicate successfully to key partners. You will provide thought leadership and lead projects, coach junior members on the team, manage evaluate new technologies with quick proof of concepts and support applications in production.

Responsibilities include the following.

* As Scrum Master manage and participate in PI planning, Sprint planning, sprint execution, retrospectives, and other agile events.

* Strong analyst building domain expertise to influence business and establish strong partnership with partners including Product Owners and fellow Scrum Masters. Ensure commitments to the sprint are delivered in line with expectations of time and quality.

* Agile champion creating positive contributions to adoption and maturing agile. JIRA expert building new JIRA reports/dashboards, leading JIRA migrations and responding to queries from stakeholders.

* Thought leader in establishing and revamping agile processes and not afraid to prepare and present as needed. Support VMO with processes documentation and adoption.

* Identify and deliver innovative and automation solutions, data 360's and modern cloud solutions in the areas of Single-Family Risk including technology implementations using Agile construct.

* Utilize expertise in models that use the newest data sources, technologies, and tools, such as Python, Hadoop, Spark, AWS, as well as other cutting-edge tools and applications for Big Data.

* Support applications, including providing fixes to production defects and making enhancements. Provide clear communication on the resolution of incidents.

* Constantly looking for better ways of solving problems and not afraid of challenging the status quo. Works under limited direction Independently determines and develops approach to solutions.

* Work is evaluated upon completion for adequacy in satisfying objectives. Represents the organization as the principal customer contact on contracts and often performs project leadership role.

* Manage budget and responsible for Roadmaps, Trend analysis, resourcing, resource onboarding and other VMO functions.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience.

* 8+ years of shown ability delivering solutions using Software Development Life Cycle including 3+ years of Business/Data Analysis, Agile and JIRA experience.

* 5+ years of experience working with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

* Must be willing to enhance the business domain knowledge.

* 5+ years' experience in delivering solutions using AWS, Data Lake, Python, Snowflake, Dev Ops and CI/CD tools.

* 3+ years' experience with complex SQL queries and Unix environment.

Freddie Mac offers a comprehensive total rewards package to include competitive compensation and market-leading benefit programs. Information on these benefit programs is available on our Careers site.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $127,000 - $191,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
