Purpose of the Position

To perform duties as necessary to prepare fiber-glass reinforced components for shipment. Inspection and recordkeeping of all quality assurances for proper hood assembly.

Job Responsibilities, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Conducts rigorous inspections of product to meet customer quality demands. Responsible for recordkeeping of defects found during the production process, by part and shift. Communicates with other employees and management of critical and repeat issues found during the production process. May assist t others in meeting their quality responsibilities. Provides real time defect identification and resolution. Verifies proper shipping labels. Follows all required safety standards, wears appropriate PPE for job activities and maintains production equipment in proper and safe working order. Cleans and maintains working area to promote safety and efficiency. Training needs are according to Core Molding Technologies training matrix for this specific position.

Physical Demands

Normal circumstances: Ability to lift or carry up to 40 pounds in a single lift/carry. Frequent lifting above the shoulders and below the waist. Ability to push or pull up to 100 pounds in a single push/pull. Standing continuously up to 2 hours, for a total of 7 hours per day. Walking continuously up to 2 hours, for a total of 7 hours per day. Use of hand tools up to 7 hours per day. Other intermittent activities will include bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting/turning up to 7 hours per day.

General: High School Diploma, GED preferred
