Overview
PSV has an exciting employment opportunity for an experienced APP to join their dedicated team of healthcare professionals! This specific role will be supporting PSV Neurology team. This role is working in-Patient and at our Out-Patient, supporting our clinic, located in Fairfax, VA. This position is working full-time Monday - Friday and one weekend a month.
The Pediatric Neurologist is responsible for medical care and quality of services provided at the Clinic. The physician reports to the Medical Director of the Neurology.

The neurologists who specialize in Brain and Spinal Cord Disorders at Pediatric Specialists of Virginia (PSV) are experts in the evaluation and treatment of brain, spine, and nervous system conditions in children of all ages.
PSV's Neurology team features board-certified pediatric specialists in every aspect of outpatient brain and spinal cord care, from diagnosis to treatment, rehabilitation, and long-term follow up care.
Job Description
Completes initial assessment and evaluation of new patients and provides ongoing monitoring of patient's medical condition and provides treatment.
Orders prescription medications and diagnostic procedures and authorizes and coordinates all specialty and ancillary services.
Provides in-service staff development and clinical teaching of trainees rotating through Medical practice.
Maintains a consultative relationship with nurses, social workers, staff clinic nurse, rehab staff etc.
Participates in the development of such programs as preventive health screening, immunization program, professional community outreach, quality assurance, etc.
Minimum Qualifications Required
All employees must pass an employment TB, drug and physical exam
Graduation from an accredited school of medicine
Board eligible/board certified
Must meet all credentialing requirements as required by Medicaid, Medicare and insurances
Completion of an appropriate residency program required
Three (3) years in the practice of medicine
Completion of Medical Doctorate required.
Must hold current, active license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Virginia
