Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer Researcher
Securing Comparted Information with Smart Radio Systems Program
Job Location: Bethesda, MD
Must have TS/SCI clearance
Develop smart radio techniques to automatically detect and characterize radio frequency (RF) anomalies in complex environments
Required Qualifications:
* Master's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science;
* Two (2) years' experience in (a) classic RF signal detection, processing, and communications protocols; and (b) machine learning including ensemble methods and neural nets;
* One (1) year experience in technical program management;
* Substantial authorship (defined as being named first, second, or last author) on a minimum of one(1) technical publication in a peer-reviewed journal in the fields in 4.1 (a) or (b).; or a combination of three (3) or more technical communications in non-peer-reviewed journals such as internal technical reports, conference proceedings, textbooks, book chapters, or the like in the fields in 4. l(a) or (b); or a minimum of three (3) technical publications in peer reviewed journals in another science or engineering discipline;
* Current TS/SCI clearance required.
Desired Qualifications:
* Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science;
* Three (3) years of technical program management experience;
* Documented experience with technical testing and evaluation to validate performance relative to defined quantitative metrics;
* Invited technical presentations or papers
