At Motley Fool Money Management, our team utilizes technology to optimize investment strategies, balancing risk and reward while ensuring a seamless investment process for both clients and our business. From enhancing client-facing web applications to integrating with financial/technology systems, our mission is to create value every day.

What would you do in this role?

As a Full-Stack ReactJS and Python/Django Developer, you'll become an integral part of our existing team, contributing to the management of billions of dollars in client assets across diverse funds and businesses. While a financial background is beneficial, it's not mandatory; we value individuals ready to immerse themselves in the business and develop expertise over time.

But what does this role actually do?

Build new features and maintain the existing infrastructure of the SMA system, powering foolwealth.com, generating algorithmic advice, and equipping certified financial planners with tools to enhance global investment strategies.Integrate with technology partners such as Interactive Brokers, Charles Schwab, Orion Advisor, and HubSpot to manage client accounts, trade assets, deliver performance reporting, and track client relationships.Collaborate directly with key stakeholders, including financial planners, customer experience representatives, traders, marketers, and business leadership, in defining requirements and designing innovative features.Navigate the challenging balance of complying with financial regulations while delivering software in an agile environment.

What do you need to apply?

Proficiency in ReactJS and Python/Django (3+ years experience)Proficiency in web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3

It's even better if you have:

4+ years of software engineering experienceAbility to fully implement a reference design from Figma into codeFamiliarity with D3.js or other visualization/graphing/charting librariesWork experience in e-commerce, finance, investing, or FinTechAdvanced SQL skillsExperience with containerized deployments using Docker and/or Amazon ECS
