Compass Coffee was founded in 2014 by two Marines who, after years of drinking terrible coffee on deployment, became obsessed with the quest for the perfect cup. We are eager to hire a highly competitive, motivated and hardworking individual to help build our world class production team.A production lead is part of leading a team that produces our products for all of our customers: to our own caf s, our restaurant partners in the DMV and e-commerce customers across the country. Your primary responsibility is to lead shifts that produce quality products, while maintaining clean and safe production areas and equipment.Production leads work to produce Compass Coffee, Simple Syrups, and Crown Tea. The production team at Compass produces products in large quantities, and a lead is responsible for operating large production lines, as well as managing the team during the production day.Key Responsibilities of the Production Lead role:Manage accurate digital records of all inventory producedUphold cleaning and organizational standards for all production areasComplete the daily production schedule to ensure all products are in stockDevelop competency in operating and maintaining production linesMaintain a growth mindsetConsistently develop knowledge about our productsAll other tasks and duties as assignedYou'd make a great Production Lead if you are:A coffee lover!
