We are leveraging our investment from Washington s largest not-for-profit health plan, Premera Blue Cross, to create a primary care offering that is holistic, seamless, and care centric.The LPN has an important role assisting with prepping charts for daily appointments, managing the patient s appointment scheduler, maintaining the cleanliness and supplies in the patient exam and waiting area, communicating patient status and needs to the clinician and assisting with check-out and follow up duties for patients. This Nurse has a direct impact on a patient s experience and is fully responsible for managing all aspects of the patient greeting, and check-in. The LPN works under direct supervision of a healthcare practitioner to use clinical knowledge and customer service skills to assist in meeting the healthcare needs of our patients. Additionally, the LPN is expected to work at the top of their LPN licensure, assisting the clinician with immunizations and other provider clinic support.What You ll Do:Greets patients and prepare them for physical examinations, including obtaining vital signs, weight, height, reviewing medications and medical history, allergies, and performing all ancillary tests required.Assist physicians during examination and treatment.Maintains supplies, cleans rooms and equipment, and stocks rooms with required supplies.Operate and maintain autoclave machine in accordance with policy and procedures that meet all regulatory requirements.Maintain and operate all clinical equipment including calibration and record keeping in accordance with the current policy and procedure and manufacturers recommendations.Perform ancillary testing and tasks as ordered by the supervising practitioner.Assist in surgical tray set up and injury or acute care as directed by the treating physician.Maintain the lab supplies, equipment, rapid testing, and all required record keeping, and quality assurance duties as required by CLIA.Dispenses medications and appliances, applies bandages, dressings and splints as ordered by the physician.Assists in maintaining a neat, clean, and orderly appearance in the center throughout the day.Follows HIPAA guidelines and safety rules as outlined in training.Attend and participate in team huddles, center staff meetings, ongoing training.Performs all duties to achieve or exceed established and desired service standards and create a delightful patient experience before, during and after the visit.Performs other duties as assigned within scope of LPN licensure.What You ll Bring:Current Washington State License Practical Nurse license required.Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care required at time of hire from American Heart Association (AHA) or Military Training Network (MTN).1-year experience in clinic setting. (Preferred)An interest in growing and developing skill and knowledge to be able to take on larger tasks or roles. (Preferred)Experience using EPIC. (Preferred)Ability to work collaboratively with providers and broader health care community. (preferred)Strong persuasion skills and demonstrated evidence of innovative thinking. (Preferred)Previous customer service experience.
