Job description

**Federal Project - Applicant must be a United States Citizen or Permanent Residents, with the ability to obtain a Public Trust**

Baer is looking for a QA Designer for a 6-month Federal Remote Project.

Title:
QA Designer
Location: Remote (Must be based in US)
Duration: 6 months
Rate: All-inclusive
Alignment: W2 or C2C (Vendors Not Permitted)

Description:
  • Create functional and compelling web designs.
  • Document user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements for new functionalities and enhancements.
  • Analyze and translate business requirements into functional specifications and system designs.
  • Develop, test, and maintain SQL queries to support various business processes and reporting needs.
  • Assist in the creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts for system enhancements and bug fixes.
  • Provide support for user acceptance testing (UAT) and work closely with users to ensure functionality meets their needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle databases and SQL queries.
  • Work with the development team to ensure that functional specifications are accurately implemented.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide updates on progress, risks, and issues.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for functional processes, system configurations, and test results.

Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience as a QA Designer or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Oracle DB and SQL.
  • Automated Testing, Selenium.
  • 508 compliance testing.
  • Experience in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite or other Oracle applications.
  • Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles.
  • Understanding of business processes in [relevant industry or sector].
  • Certification in Oracle or SQL (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional).
