We are looking for a Professional VA Safety and Emissions Inspector. These individuals enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where opportunities are limitless (think over 900 cars per month!) and their skills and expertise are regularly and adequately rewarded.

The business was started by our grandparents as a single auto repair shop in Alexandria, VA in 1976. Today, 48 years later, we operate 8 locations and support over 50,000 vehicle owners in Northern Virginia and Maryland.

Job Duties
- Perform VA Safety Inspections accurately and responsibly.
- Perform Emissions Inspections
- Use power of communication to regularly, effectively, and directly relay information to Service Advisor in order to keep customers informed of their vehicle status
- Provide a timely and comprehensive estimate of time needed for repairs
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy while ensuring alignment with all state and manufacturer standards
- Perform multi-point inspection on each vehicle

Minimum Qualifications
- Broad experience in all areas of automotive service & repair
- Positive and friendly attitude
- Dependable
- Clean and valid Driver's License
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Process and detail oriented
- Ambitious with a desire to learn and grow
Ideal Qualifications
- Master ASE Certification
- Virginia State Inspector Certification
- Emission Repair Technician Certification
- Automotive technician experience or equivalent education
