We are looking for a Dental Hygienist (RDH) for our affiliated practice, Smiles at Fairfax Corner, located in Fairfax, Virginia 22030. This is a full-time position. We are looking to hire a Hygienist with a minimum of 1 - 2 years' experience. We offer a competitive salary, plus benefits!

• Flexible schedule options available: Monday-Friday or part-time on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
• 3 yrs of hands on experience
• X-Ray Certification is required
• Local anesthesia experience is preferred
• Expected patient load: 8 patients per day (1 hour per patient)
• Pay rate: $62-$65 per hour

Essential Responsibilities

• Deliver periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services to improve the oral health of patients. Candidates must be enthusiastic about their dental work and committed to providing the highest level of care at all times.
• Provide oral hygiene dental treatment and oral hygiene care and education under limited supervision, following approved guidelines regulated by the state.
• Conduct patient screening, medical history review, and dental charting.
• Apply fluoride and protective sealants. Remove calculus, stain, and plaque from above and below the gum line.
• Provides nutritional counseling, and self-care programs to prevent disease.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Desired Skills:

• Active Hygiene license for the state of application is required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
