Position SummaryMAG Aerospace is seeking a highly qualifiedDeputy Program Managerto provide support and collaborate with the Program Manager to lead a large-scale contractor-owned, contractor-operated (COCO) Airborne Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (A-ISR) integration and operations program and Task Order. Overall program support will include oversight of integration and test activities, pre-deployment activities, and support of deployed OCONUS A-ISR operations.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following:Continual/daily support to the PMPerform management duties consisting of planning, contracts execution, evaluation of employees, selecting subcontractor(s) and managing multiple subcontracts of varying size and scopeAssists PM in areas of operational execution and financial aspects of contract deliverables, cost, and schedule to achieve all key performance indicators, service level agreements, and annual operating plan commitmentsConduct schedule management including task/activity definition and sequencing, resource estimating, task duration estimating schedule development, and schedule control activitiesConduct cost management to include resource planning, cost estimating, budgeting and cost control activitiesAppropriately and efficiently communicates and documents risks, mitigation strategies, and concerns to PMAssists the PM in developing employee base to achieve high degree of employee retention and performanceProvide strategic & tactical direction including strategy to action plan for MAG and Government personnelManage project scope to include project initiation, scope planning, scope definition and scope change control activitiesIntegrated Project Team (IPT) meeting management and coordinationExecute project plans and conduct integrated change control activitiesSupport organizational planning, project team acquisition, and staff development activitiesLogistics and export support to include Regulations/guideline assurance (ITAR, FAR etc)Conduct in depth internal and external program management reviews with various stakeholdersActively engage other organizations within MAG on collaboration efforts that ensure that MAG delivers the best products, solutions and servicesOther duties may be assignedRequirementsMinimum Experience:A minimum of five (5) years of experience within the last ten (10) years as a Deputy Program Manager / Project Manager within the FEDSIM/GSA contracting envelopeA minimum of five (5) years of experience as a site lead and/or managing airborne intelligence collection operations and planning, security support, and information systems operation, maintenance, and sustainment, in both garrison and non-garrison (i.e., austere) environmentsA minimum of two (2) years of experience within the last five (5) years working on A-ISR programs and projects falling under either the US Army Fixed Wing Project Office (FWPO) or Project Director Sensors-Aerial Intelligence (PDSAI)Knowledge of the FAR, DoD regulations, requirements, policies & proceduresExperienced in cost & schedule estimatingAbility to construct technical Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) documents and other project-related documentationProficiency in MS Office (ex: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, etc.)Ability to multi-task in a high pressure, fast-paced environmentAn active Program Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certificationDesired Experience:Experience as a DPM on a contract or TO with a greater than $500M total contract value, base period aircraft integration effort with option year deployments, and scope similar to typical OCONUS COCO A-ISR servicesExperience as a DPM overseeing projects/programs involving global deployments under a GSA/FEDSIM contract vehicle.Direct experience and technical background with integrating sensor technologies on commercial aircraftAn active PMI Program Management Professional (PgMP) certificationThe ability to create a technical description and baseline that can be used to create a Technical Direction Letter (TDL)The ability to develop and brief a Technical solution similar to a FEDSIM/GSA Case StudyEducation:Bachelor s DegreeMaster s Degree DesiredClearance:A TS security clearance with eligibility for SCI at time of hireActive TS//SCI with Polygraph at time of hire desiredCitizenship:US CitizenOthe r Requirements:This position will be primarily based at our MAG Aerospace headquarters based in Fairfax, VA with travel up to 50% of the time during the base period and up to 25% of the time during option yearsAbility to work in an office/lab environment and aircraft integration/maintenance/hangar facilities both CONUS and OCONUSSpecial NoteThe position is contingent upon candidate s ability to meet physical and medical requirements as needed by the position; including compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local jurisdictional requirements.Government or customer site-specific requirements may include, but are not limited to, proof of full COVID-19 vaccination status, except in circumstances where a candidate is legally entitled to an accommodation.Company PolicyMAG Aerospace (MAG) is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer and is committed to Diversity and Inclusion.
