Augusta Military Medical Center (formerly Fort Belvoir Community Hospital).Available shift:Monday to Friday - 11:30 am -8:00 pm, rotating Saturdays 6:00 am -2:00 pmPOSITION OVERVIEW:This position provides a variety of clerical duties in support of patient care and treatment.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Have sufficient knowledge and skills to record and maintain accurate records. Prepare reports and be able to utilize computer data systems in these processes.Answer inquiries and obtain information for the general public, customers, visitors and other interested parties.Provide information regarding activities conducted at the establishment; location of departments, offices, and employees within the organization.Performs a variety of receptionist and other clerical duties in support of patient care for the family practice, or like clinic, in FHCs. This will include but not be limited to open access scheduling and assist in creating a patient-centered health clinic.Verifies patient information in CHCS.
