iiPay has a unique opportunity for a highly experienced and motivated Payroll Operations UK Team Leader who wants to supervise all aspects of payroll, administration and client employee interactions and will be responsible for coaching and developing members of the team to help drive to our goal of Paying the Planet.

**Role Overview**

Our highly motivated and engaged team members are at the heart of our success! This role requires being responsible for ensuring our clients receive exceptional service and support. The lead will supervise all aspects of payroll, administration and client employee interactions and will be responsible for coaching and developing members of the team. Additionally, the incumbent will facilitate communication, proactively identify issues, lead issue resolution, complete root cause analysis after resolving issues and provide guidance and support to the team. The incumbent will also liaise between the internal groups working on current Payroll needs which impact clients. Additionally, the team lead will always focus on delivering excellent service to our clients, and internal teams.

Requirements: The successful candidate requires minimum 2 years of UK Payroll experience and the ability to demonstrate a proven track record in the following areas:

* Work closely with Payroll Operations Manager to oversee daily operations of the Payroll Department

* Take responsibility for being the primary operations contact point for the UK, developing and maintaining detailed knowledge of the statutory processes and legislative deadlines.

* Investigate errors and make necessary corrections

* Responsible for workload distributions during team members vacation, sick, temporary or prolonged absence

* Delivers and coordinates training

* Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity

* Ability to lead and work with a team. Ability to interact and partner with clients and third parties towards a common goal

* Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions

* Attends to leadership training and seminars and other professional development opportunities

* Responsible to handle the second step of escalations. Follows through on all assignments and takes ownership of customer issues

* Effectively manages scope and client expectations on individual assignments

* Mentor, develop and lead the payroll team

* Assist with the interview and selection of new team members

* Partner with the Implementation and Project Management Team to support new client and payroll transitions

* Recommend and implement wholesale process improvements and by working with the Product Development team to propose and provide context to system enhancement initiatives

* Demonstrate leadership and outstanding verbal and written communications skills including the ability to effectively present and influence across multiple teams and levels within the organization

* Working with the Software provider to enhance and develop the processes and outcomes for our partner network

* Identify and champion process improvements and develop training materials in order to roll out across the team.

* Collate ideas from the Payroll Operations team on improvements that can be made to processes and how we collaborate and communicate with our clients and ICPs.
