Job Description

Role Description

Arcadis seeks a summer intern to join the Government and Civic team, located in Washington, DC. This position collaborates with a diverse and creative team, dedicated to excellence in design and innovative problem solving. The ideal candidate for this position will be interested in learning more about the architectural industry by participating in a mentorship training program.

Role Accountabilities
  • Shadow architectural Project Manager(s) and teammates to understand the design process and required deliverables.
  • Participates in job site visits and field observations.
  • Assists the interior design project team.
  • Assists the marketing team.
  • Assists with drawing production/detailing.
  • Attend project meetings with team members.
  • Collaborates with other professionals to ensure design and documentation meet project expectations


Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience:
  • In the process of getting a Bachelor's Degree in architecture or related design field.
  • Self-motivated and willing to learn
  • Highly collaborative and a strong team player
  • Knowledge of REVIT is preferred but not required.
