- Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a VMWare Administrator to join a non-profit organization located in Quantico, VA. The VMWare Administrator will be responsible for Administration for customers' virtualization requirements.
As a VMware Administrator , you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on a VMware Administrator joining our team to be a part of the team of men and women that solve some of the world's most complex technical challenges
How a VMware Administrator will Make an Impact:
- Administration for customers' virtualization requirements
- Daily support, maintenance, and design services for VMware virtualization across four separate enterprise domains
- Daily interaction with network and storage administrators to ensure full operability of virtualization services
- Plans and implements system security patches as well as upgrades as required
- Windows Domain enterprise support as it relates to VMware operations as well as supporting the customer with vulnerability management, outage, and troubleshooting
- BS degree ; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- Security+
- Experience with in-depth knowledge/experience of VMware virtualization with a minimum level of ESXi 5.5 up to 7.x in both stand alone and VCenter environments to include:
o VCenter operations
o vMotion
o Host and Datastore Clustering
o VCenter HA and DRS
o Guest VM resource utilization and management
Compensation for the VMWare Administrator include:
Salary Range: $110-140,000
Contract-to-Hire
