Working Title Customer Relations Coordinator (Y0399) Role Title Gen Admin Supv I/Coord I - 19221 Location Hanover - 085 Job Description The Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ ) is recruiting for a Customer Relations Coordinator for the Virginia Public Safety Training Center (VPSTC ) to manage the multi-agency coordination of training resources, training schedules, and record keeping while providing excellent customer service to our clients and other state agency training professionals. Duties include serving as the primary contact as the customer service representative for all aspects of program registration for VPSTC coordinated programs from receipt of request through post-event assessment of services, ensuring the integrity and quality of the total customer experience for clients. Receives ongoing program scheduling requests and ensures the availability of classroom and training resources based on need and size of class per occupancy guidelines, handles coordination and ordering of food for VPSTC partner agencies along with all DJJ -conducted training on campus. Updates and distributes weekly documentation detailing campus events, monthly reports of courses scheduled for delivery along with an annual report of activities to the Director of VPSTC . Maintains professional relationships when possessing confidential information/documentation related to DJJ activities or partner agencies. Attends work groups, meetings, trade shows with appropriate professional organizations to promote the VPSTC to raise awareness of its resources to local, state and federal government partners with the use of PowerPoint presentations, pamphlets, videos, or other promotional material to support the VPSTC public safety mission. Minimum Qualifications Graduation from high school with emphasis in office practices, computer skills. Experience in difficult and involved clerical and administrative work with record keeping experience. A valid drivers license is required at the time of employment. Preferred Qualifications Preferred qualifications include extensive customer service, ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines, multi task, while working with both internal and external customers of all levels.
