**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

* Read the production schedule and position material in front of each work center to support the schedule in first in first out order

* Removal and storage of product from the plant floor to designated storage areas

* Must adhere to all safety requirements

* Fill in for vacations or absenteeism of other Material Handlers as needed

* Working knowledge of ISO quality systems management requirements

* Must follow applicable Food Safety policies and procedures

* Other duties as assigned to advance the mission of MCC

* Assist with physical inventories as required

* Housekeeping all storage areas are to be kept neat and orderly

* Unload deliveries of substrate as needed

**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**

* Minimum of High School degree or GED

* Must be certified to operate the equipment required for the products being handled: (Fork Truck, Clamp Truck, Spear Truck, Hand Truck)

* Ability to effectively communicate with various internal and external audiences in both person and various electronic media

* Ability to manage time and work effectively with minimal supervision

* Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously

* Ability to work in Elkton, KY

**WORKING CONDITIONS**

* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

* Ability to get on off a fork truck numerous time per day (over 50)

* Ability to roll large diameter rolls with roll mover as required
