We are currently on the lookout for an exceptional Infrastructure Optimization Software Engineer to become a pivotal player in our Cyber Mission business unit based in Jessup, MD. As a dedicated Software Engineer within our team, you'll immerse yourself in a critical, full-time position, delivering 1880 hours of impactful support annually at a customer-centric location. Your mission will involve:
  • Collaborating closely with both government and contractor teams to refine and integrate enhanced client requirements, ensuring the seamless operation and maintenance of a vital application/tool.
  • Leveraging your full-stack development expertise to spearhead the creation of a sophisticated business planning and tracking application, incorporating advanced knowledge of corporate authentication services and robust security frameworks.
  • Engaging in the design and validation of innovative prototype solutions, rigorously verifying them against established requirements.
  • A proactive problem-solver who thrives in environments requiring minimal supervision and enjoys the autonomy to drive projects forward.
  • Adeptness in full-stack software development, with a keen understanding of corporate authentication services and security protocols.
  • A visionary thinker with the ability to design, develop, and validate prototype solutions that meet and exceed validated requirements.


Qualifications:

Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Fourteen years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Four years of additional software engineering experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • Experience in Full Stack development efforts.
  • Experience with MEVN (MONGO, EXPRESS, VUE, NODE) and DOCKER.
  • Experience with corporate authentication services and dealing with security requirements.
  • Experience in DevOps for designing and proofing prototypes.
  • Experience with Linux operating systems
  • Experience migrating data between environments on one or more platforms is desirable.
  • Must be compliant with DoD 8570 IAD Level 1, at a minimum.
  • Position requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

Individual Capabilities/Experience Desired:

  • Experience in defining an effort from mission outcomes/objectives to key tasks, collaborating with others monitoring and preparing out-reports, with the ability to embrace cross-directorate collaboration, and work with/advise others with little or no Systems Engineering experience.

Target Salary Range:
$190,000 - $304,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
