H2 Performance Consulting (H2) is seeking a Senior-level Cloud Engineer to provide support to the Infrastructure Services portfolio within the Navy Program Executive Office Digital & Enterprise Services, with a focus on cloud services. The role requires engineering input for ongoing infrastructure and cloud projects and accreditation efforts and recommendations on leading cloud technologies as they relate to the Naval Enterprise Network (NEN).

The Senior Systems Engineer responsibilities will include:

Cloud services to support the design and transition to cloud services for messaging and communications, SharePoint Online;

Operating system and database system upgrades, system containerization, (Kubernetes/Docker) and migration of core services to cloud resources to align with roadmap objectives.

Identity and access management, to include transition to cloud-based directory services and policy design/management, DNS, and Privileged Access Management (PAM).

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and experience with Cloud services to support the design and transition to cloud services and communications;
  • Knowledge and experience with SharePoint Online, Azure HCI and Azure is needed.
  • Knowledge and experience with cloud-facing storage systems and networking technology is highly desired.
  • Knowledge and experience with Operating system and database system upgrades, system containerization, (Kubernetes/Docker) and migration of core services to cloud resources to align with roadmap objectives.
  • Knowledge and experience with Identity and access management, to include transition to cloud-based directory services and policy design/management, DNS, and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
  • Minimum SECRET clearance
  • Bachelor s or equivalent experience and 5 years of specialized project management support experience with a Navy acquisition program or related/comparable project management support experience with DOD agencies. Bachelor s degree in related field or equivalent technical work experience is also acceptable.
  • Experience in IT infrastructure solution design, planning, installation, operation, maintenance, and dispositioning.
  • Candidate must possess datacenter storage engineering expertise.
  • Experience with storage and SAN solutions: NetApp, Brocade, Veritas NetBackup.
  • Experience with underlying storage and SAN technologies: FC, SMB, NFS, etc.
  • Familiarity with virtualization and hyperconverged technologies, organizational change management and operations migration. Familiarity with AGILE methodologies.
  • Demonstrated organizational, interpersonal, and verbal/written communications skills to work effectively across the program. Travel Requirements: Minimal.
