A Brief Overview

Reporting to the Global Director of IT Cloud & Hosting, the IT Cloud and Hosting Service Manger will be responsible for the delivery and management of Cloud and Hosting management across the Belron/Safelite IT estate.

This role will be based in Columbus, Ohio with the occasional travel to regional technology centers/hubs as well as our Belron Group office in Egham, UK. Overnight stays may be necessary from time to time as needed.

What You'll Do
  • Ensures the stable running of the global Cloud hosting environment in collaboration with vendor(s) and country-based peers in a matrix-based organization and providing senior point of interface and accountability for all aspects of Cloud service delivery and assurance
  • Manages and supports the necessary tools to ensure the smooth running of Cloud operations and delivers robust, efficient, and professional operational IT service to key stakeholders
  • Manages the Cloud infrastructure elements of the IT project pipeline and monitors on-going progress against plan, to ensure delivery on time and within budget
  • Maintains documentation of systems, maps, procedures, user, and technical information
  • Manages any on-going Cloud-related escalations, and reviews/responds to out-of-hours critical incidents, as required
  • Manages both internal and third-party resources in delivering intended outcomes
  • Designs, plans, and develops Cloud and infrastructure services within the context of the IT strategy
  • Identifys opportunities for cost savings and optimization of existing services
  • Participates in re-occurring service reviews with vendors and relevant stakeholders
  • Overall lifecycle management of cloud service from provisioning, upgrades to decommissioning
  • Collaborates with Security to ensure any possible breaches are remediated and cloud infrastructure is continuously compliant with global standards
  • Jointly assesses future demands and submitted change requests against our cloud environment
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • ITIL, LEANIT and/or DevOps accreditation preferred
  • 7-9 years relevant experience Required
  • 4-6 years experience of IT service/technical management experience, within global Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) and co-location datacenter environments Required
  • 4-6 years experience of delivering a 'migration to Cloud' and datacenter consolidation program Required
  • 1-3 years leadership experience of managing a team in a fast paced, virtual, international, and demanding work environment Preferred
  • 1-3 years experience of working in a similar role managing various cloud environments across multiple countries and geographies required
  • 1-3 years technical assurance of a managed service required
  • Be Strategic by Supporting development of IT Service Strategy and IT Service Design (High proficiency)
  • Demonstrable history of operational and performance management of partners (High proficiency)
  • Excellent analytical skills, including an ability to anticipate and highlight potential issues and opportunities (High proficiency)
  • Management of Global Cloud Hosting budget and optimizing the spend (High proficiency)
  • IT Cloud Management and IT Service Management (High proficiency)
  • Delivering Cloud Migration programs (High proficiency)
  • Communication skills - both written and verbal (High proficiency)
  • Strong self-motivation, ability to work independently with little supervision (High proficiency)
  • Experience in managing vendors and suppliers in meetings and exceeding committed levels of service (High proficiency)
  • Strategic and analytical thinking (Medium proficiency)
  • Facilitation skills (Medium proficiency)
  • Networking (across multiple functions, business units, external stakeholders) (Medium proficiency)
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and uncertainty (Medium proficiency)
  • Understanding of IT methodologies in particular DevOps (Medium proficiency)
  • Relevant technical and security qualifications for Cloud (Medium proficiency)
