We are currently seeking a Senior Solution Architect- Federal to Join IPS.

Position Description (scope of work or brief narrative):
The Solution Architect performs the anchor role of engagement effort for assignments, all the way from business process consulting and problem definition to solution design, development, and deployment. You will lead business transformation programs helping clients mitigate Digitization challenges. You will be pivotal to problem definition and discovery of the overall solution and guide teams on project processes, and deliverables. As a thought leader in the manufacturing domain, you will be the key advisor to architecture and design reviews. You will anchor business pursuit initiatives, client training, and in-house capability building. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape. Possesses superior oral and written communication skills to clearly and effectively convey issues, reports, and other deliverables to client counterparts.

Required years of experience, training, technical skills, and other requirements for job performance:
  • Minimum 11 years of experience in Information Technology and expertise working with Federal/Quasi Government agencies and respective domain knowledge.
  • Experience working in US Federal / quasi-government agencies with emphasis on IRS, VA, and HHS.
  • Experience in infrastructure, application integrations, and any cloud platforms and technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with unclassified and classified Federal information systems and practices
  • Experience with NIST controls, GovCloud, and Federal cyber security controls
  • Experience in audits like FedRAMP, SOX, and other federal compliance requirements
  • Expertise in DevSecOps and MLOps
  • Experience in enterprise/solution architecture and design
  • You will interface with key stakeholders and functional proficiency across different stages of the project including Requirements Elicitation, Solution Design, Configuration, and Deployment.
  • You will play an important role in creating high-level design artifacts, architecture diagrams, flow charts, and Business Requirements documents for solutions.
  • You will be involved in the high-level and detailed solution design lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty, validating requirements with product offerings, and working with relevant stakeholders for product customization requests.
  • You will significantly contribute to identifying best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects; develop the application's design, and provide regular support/guidance to project teams on complex coding, issue resolution, and execution.
  • Coordinate with other teams to ensure successful project deployment.
  • Provide technical support and training to customers and internal teams.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud solutions for maximum performance.
  • Collaborate with other architects and developers to create innovative solutions.
  • Certifications like TOGAF/EA, AWS/Azure/GCP will be preferred

Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive, relevant work experience instead of every year of education. Candidates who have completed a Master's degree program are strongly preferred.

The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face-to-face.
