Our client, a top food manufacturing company doubling in size, is currently seeking aSenior Manager - Marketing Research.Generous bonus on top of base and excellent benefits which start day one!Position is based in Northern VA/onsite and reports into a top Head of Marketing I've known for 15+ years!PURPOSE -Serve as the lead research expert, thought leader, and voice of the consumer Develop and share business intelligence and insights to support consumer and customer analytics, fact-based decision making, and competitive and market analysisResponsibilities: Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to provide "world-class" Marketing Research and Business Intelligence Understand consumer needs and behavior, translate data and knowledge into insights, and integrate into actionable strategies and plans Tell compelling stories with data, make it meaningful, and drive enterprise-wide action Align research priorities to best serve the strategic needs of the organization Identify the optimal mix of vendor partners and research strategies o Identify best-in-class analyses, methodologies, and applications Establish reporting and analytic structures to maximize available information Serve as a catalyst for new and innovative research approaches Manage our partnerships with third party vendors pertaining to Syndicated Research Data and Custom Marketing Research in the following area: Syndicated Research Data - scan data, panel data, shopper data (e.g. Nielsen, IRI, Mintel) Custom Consumer Research - focus groups, in-person interviews, social listening Custom Innovation-specific Research - concept testing, flavor screening, product and sensory testing, in-home usage testing, post-launch monitoring Other Custom Research-packaging studies, advertising studies, ad-hoc as needed Manage our partnerships with third party vendors, consultants, and other sources to conduct Business Intelligence for: o Competitive Analysis-strategic and business information about competitor Operations, Technologies, New Products, and other key developments Market Analysis-strategic and market trend information about current and future potential Product Categories and Geographic MarketsEXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES - 10+ years of overall professional experience in Marketing Research & Business Intelligence is required, either for a CPG brand or at a third party syndicated data /research provider Requires strategic business discipline and business intelligence perspective, strong analytical skills, a deep knowledge of syndicated data analytics and custom research methodologies, and the ability to interact with Marketing & Sales Teams and Senior Management Approximate Travel Requirement 10-15% MBA is preferred.Bachelor's degree is required.Join this very top team, culture, portfolio, and strong career path opportunity company!Please send qualified resume to:lwertman judge.com
