Job description

Overview:

Why We Need Your Talents:

The Construction Coordinator reports to the Director of Construction and assists in providing administrative support the office and filed staff by performing several administrative functions. This position implements the organizations policies and procedures through work processes and maximizes work productivity through the efficient use of resources.

Responsibilities:

Where You'll Make an Impact:

  • Supports Director of Construction with projects from start to finish and serves as part of the projects team
  • Assists with preconstruction efforts such as bid proposals, contractor references and contracts, collecting compliance information and documents and contracts
  • Assist Director of Construction, once the project is under construction, with submittals, change requests and change orders, and overall correspondence for the project
  • Ability to perform general administrative duties including ordering supplies, answering phones, and taking minutes
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings
  • Manage files and records
  • Create forms, spreadsheets and presentations
  • Research and prepare reports and proposals
  • Mail and overnight delivery/pickup as needed
  • Welcome and receive visitors
  • Run various errands
  • Effectively communicate with Office Manager, Peers, and Corporate Office
  • Maintain accurate records.

Qualifications:

Must-Haves:

  • Education:
    • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
    • Two years Associates degree in Office Administration, business administration or similar.
  • Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license.
  • Experience with Autodesk, Plan Grid, Procore, or any construction management software is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to:
    • Stand and sit for long periods of time.
    • Use hands and fingers to handle and feel; use hands and arms to reach, legs and feet to balance, stoop, kneel or crouch.
    • Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 lbs and infrequently lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.
    • Regularly utilize sufficient vision or other powers of observation to review documents and computer screens and organize documents and materials.
  • Use of stairs and elevators
