Position Overview:

The Project Management Senior Manager role will be part of the Multifamily Underwriting Operations team in the Multifamily Underwriting & Credit department. The position is responsible for partnering with internal leads and other department teams to manage the scope, schedule, quality, risks and issues, and impacts of various projects as well as other assigned business management activities. Typical projects may involve FHFA directives, Scorecard requirements, Issue remediation, Policy and Standard implementation, and other process and technology change. Our Impact:

The Underwriting Operations team provides Multifamily Underwriting & Credit department the ability to focus on setting credit policy, underwriting loans and preparing investors by supporting the needs of enterprise groups (e.g., Finance, Enterprise Risk, and Internal Audit) and other internal department stakeholders. We provide centralized facilitation across the department where activities such as projects involve subject matter experts across teams. We also provide various reporting to management.

Your Impact:

You will be responsible for the management of and reporting out on projects that require a broad knowledge of the firm and its key functions as well as the Underwriting & Credit function. You will demonstrate strong analytical and project management skills across the enterprise providing resolutions to an extensive range of projects. You will represent the organization as the principal contact on projects frequently requiring coordination across organizational lines.

Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years of related professional experience
  • Prior experience implementing process change
  • Understanding of secondary mortgage market and ideally Multifamily
  • Technical knowledge related to technology platforms, infrastructure, models, data, and risk frameworks
  • Strong facilitation and project management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload; often times supporting multiple concurrent effort in various capacities (leading one or more efforts while supporting others)
  • Strong business judgment and decision-making skills; problem solving, coupled with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including reporting to senior leadership
  • Self-starter who can work independently as well as in a group

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $146,000 - $218,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
