Mount Indie is in search for aProgram Director to provide overall direction/guidance to a technical project team supporting government DevSecOps projects.
Responsibilities:
Develop, cultivate, and manage government/client relationships
Maintain lines of communication with government contracts and technical representatives
Assist in team development, leveraging organization resources to improve capacity for project work
Interview, select, develop and evaluate team members
Define and manage project management processes and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives to implement best practices for technical project management
Build and promote the empowerment of the team, ensuring each team member is fully engaged in the project and making a meaningful contribution, and encouraging a sustainable pace with high levels of quality for the team
Manage project financials and supporting contract documents, ensuring a healthy project gross margin
Prioritize, lead, and manage tasking of project team and completion of assignments
Evaluate, prioritize, and manage impacts of project scope changes
Collect and translate business requirements into technical requirements
Escalate project risks to the appropriate stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
Ability to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Management or Engineering, or other comparable degree or experience
At least 10 years of IT Project Management experience, focusing on agile projects
At least 2 years specialized experience in leading IT DevSecOps projects
At least 3 years specialized experience in business process analysis and change management
Demonstrated experience in executing agile programs with Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Experience managing large complex programs for Federal customers.
Experience strategizing, planning, leading organizing, and motivating project delivery team
Experience monitoring and managing the financials and staffing of an IT program
Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building
Strong written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated ability to determine and implement improvements for program to achieve quality, and customer excellence
