( QA Automation IT Lead will be responsible for Quality Assurance for all projects within 1 or more project vertical markets. Will establish project priorities and manage the activities of the QA Consultants, Specialist, Analyst, contractors, RyderTemp and interns within the team, delivering each project within the established commitments, ensuring quality, performance and conformance with established specifications. Under general direction, the QA IT lead carries out procedures to ensure that all information system products and services meet organization standards and end-user requirements.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSEnsure that the Ryder QA methodology is adhered to on all projects under their control. As part of a continuous improvement program, review and revise, as necessary, the quality assurance objectives and processes, including definition and implementation of the environment and infrastructure of quality assurance. Participate in defining overall releases, engineering infrastructure, review and revision of quality metrics and measurement systems. Key Responsibilities include: review compliance with current standards and procedures for project business requirements documentation, testing documentation and measurements; identify, improve, and implement standards for QA processes; train team member s on Ryder s QA methodology; assists in the research and implementation of appropriate QA productivity and testing tools; development and maintenance of QA Estimation Tools-Provide leadership with Project Management tools and techniquesCreate test data, test cases and test execution for applications. Documents and works to resolve all complex problems. Reports progress on problem resolution to management. Devises improvements to current procedures and develops models of possible future organization and improvements. Resource will act as subject matter expert in assigned areas. Performs complex work flow analysis and recommends quality improvements.Staff, coordinate and manage all QA Projects and a group of QA Testers. Provides test automation, security test and performance test guidance to all testers in the QA team by being involved with project level work as needed.
