Job description

Purpose of Position

The Supervisor, Warranty provides timely auditing and approval of all maintenance related invoices for assigned fleets. This includes ensuring all charges are reasonable and appropriate and determining if charges can be recovered manufacturer warranty, vendor charges and/or guaranteed service agreements. The Supervisor, Warrantyleads conversations with vendors, manufacturer, and/or service agreements to resolve disputes and recover claims. The Supervisor, Warranty is a subject matter expert in assigned fleets and works with other departments within NetJets to achieve corporate goals. The Supervisor, Warranty leads a team of Maintenance Cost Auditors and ensures work is performed appropriately, workloads are leveled across the team, and any issues are resolved in accordance with NetJetspolicies.

Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Audits and approves maintenance related invoices and identifies charges to be recovered from vendors, manufacturers, and/or service agreements.
  • Supervises the activities of Maintenance Cost Auditors and/or Data Entry Clerks.
  • Coordinates activities with other internal departments, providing subject matter expertise as appropriate.

Education Associate's Certifications and Licenses FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Years of Experience 6-8 years of experience Core Competencies Adaptability Collaboration Curiosity Service-Oriented Strives for Positive Results Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs)
  • Experience and expertise as a Maintenance Cost Auditor
  • Strong working knowledge of aircraft maintenance and/or aviation
  • Ability to read and interpret contractual language and maintenance plan documents
  • Ability to effectively and persuasively resolve disputes and communicate company positions, both orally and through written correspondence
  • Working knowledge of MS office applications
  • Ability to manage work group with diverse backgrounds and technical abilities
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and structure tasks for others
