Speech / Language Pathologist

2024-2025 School Year
QUALIFICATIONS:
Massachusetts licensure in Speech
SEI endorsement, preferred
Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology preferred
An in-depth knowledge of speech disorders as they relate to the learning abilities/disabilities of children
Such other alternatives as the Superintendent of Schools may deem acceptable and appropriate
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide direct services for eligible students as articulated by the Individualized Education Program
Administer evaluations for children with a wide variety of communicative disorders
Develop goals and objectives for eligible children with speech and language disorders
Collaborate with the IEP Team in developing educational plans for children with individual communication needs
Work with special education personnel to provide an integrated program for children with multiple special needs
Participate in Speech Language quarterly meetings and professional development
Such other responsibilities as may from time to time be assigned by the Principal and/or Director of Student Services
SALARY: In accordance with FEA Unit A Contract
