Speech / Language Pathologist

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Massachusetts licensure in Speech
- SEI endorsement, preferred
- Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology preferred
- An in-depth knowledge of speech disorders as they relate to the learning abilities/disabilities of children
- Such other alternatives as the Superintendent of Schools may deem acceptable and appropriate
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide direct services for eligible students as articulated by the Individualized Education Program
- Administer evaluations for children with a wide variety of communicative disorders
- Develop goals and objectives for eligible children with speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with the IEP Team in developing educational plans for children with individual communication needs
- Work with special education personnel to provide an integrated program for children with multiple special needs
- Participate in Speech Language quarterly meetings and professional development
- Such other responsibilities as may from time to time be assigned by the Principal and/or Director of Student Services
