Senior Mainframe CICS Systems ProgrammerRemote - United StatesJR010383Position SummaryThe Senior Mainframe CICS Systems Programmer for Optimize team will be responsible for the ongoing support for all mainframe CICS including trouble shooting, problem resolution, and maintenance.Key Areas of Focus for this RoleImplement CICS TS installations & upgrades and provide support for related OEM software products.Regularly lead self and others and/or established as product SME and/or established as a specialist.Provides technical support for multiple configurations of CICS TS software solutions.Processes communication skills to participate in Client meetings.Works directly with Software vendors on new solutions and product defects.Enhance the performance of others through mentoring and guiding.Provide and document problem analysis, resolution & prevention, designing procedures and best practice techniques.Required QualificationsMinimum of 10 years hands on/industry CICS TS experience on z/OSBachelor s degree required and/or equivalent work experienceAbility to perform complex ISV installations & upgradesAbility to perform and lead complex projectsCustomer Service skills at management / client levelExtreme attention to detailStrong teamwork skillsUnderstand a large-scale 24 7 production environmentOther QualificationsGood problem solving and analytical skills with knowledge of problem analysisGood interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsAbility to mentor and show leadership qualitiesExperience establishing and documenting processes and proceduresWillingness to take ownership of issues and progress to resolutionProficient in Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, Powepoint)Basic Sharepoint KnowledgeExperience installing, configuring, & upgrading MQ and/or WAS on z/OWhyEnsono ( ?Ensono is a place we unleash Associates to Do Great Things for our clients and for your career.
