Dietitian Technician - Herndon, VA
Full Time
Shifts: Days (40 hrs/week)
Responsibilities:
Purchase grocery items for the facility as needed, considering variety, special diets, and food safety.
Uphold proper sanitation requirements and kitchen cleanliness.
Facilitate and model normalized eating behaviour for clients, redirecting eating disorder behaviours and assuring compliance with meal plan.
Provide redirections when eating disorder behaviours are used at the table
Plan menus and prepare meals as therapeutically recommended by Dietitian.
Participate in restaurant experiences and catered meals.
Advise clients appropriately on food choices.
Conduct weekly client calorie counts/weights/vitals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Nutrition OR Behavioural Science field OR DTR Certification.
