Are you a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant looking to join a great team of professionals? Join our team in Frederick, MD at Frederick Health Hospital. This is a Full Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant position; schedule is Monday - Friday with an expectation of one weekend day per month, one major holiday per year, and one minor holiday per year.
The details:
This is a large team with a fast paced hospital environment which clinicians treat a variety of diagnoses with a common mix of orthopedics, neurological, behavioral health, and critical care caseloads.
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants with at least one (1) year hospital acute experience are encouraged to apply. We will also consider new graduates with strong acute clinical rotations. Be a part of this team with an excellent reputation for service to its patients.

The requirements:
Degree from a ACOTE accredited school
Current state licensure or eligibility in Occupational Therapy in Maryland
Has one (1) year hospital acute experience or experience in a skilled environment
New graduates with strong acute clinical rotations welcome to apply
Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association
Will display strong skills in flexibility, time management, and communication
Focuses on the patient and providing the utmost in customer service excellence
The responsibilities:
Deliver quality occupational therapy services according to treatment plans for patients
Document with web-based software and documentation system (EMR)
Provide accurate and timely documentation for current patient caseload
Meet all clinical, departmental, and regulatory expectations
Conduct patient and family education
Participate in a positive work environment to promote teamwork and communication
